Open data refers to data that anyone can freely use, reuse, and share without technical, financial, or legal restrictions, while complying with the terms of the license under which the data was published.
Publishing open data is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), aimed at making public data accessible to beneficiaries and raising awareness of published statistics, reports, studies, and other data. This helps enhance transparency and encourages greater e-participation.
The Open Data Platform provides datasets published by the Ministry in formats that are easy to process and reuse. The Ministry also welcomes beneficiaries’ feedback and suggestions through its e-participation channels to help improve the platform and make better use of the published data.
