The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has announced that both Saudi Arabia and Argentina have completed all arrangements for holding a feed forum in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina. The forum will be held from Sept. 10 to 13, with the participation of a Saudi delegation headed by Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Eng. Ahmed AlAiadh.
The forum is a part of the ongoing efforts of the Ministry to provide animal feed in the domestic market, following the implementation of the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 66 dated 25/2/1437 to stop the cultivation of green fodder.
The Ministry said that the delegation that will attend the forum is composed of representatives of the Agricultural Development Fund and leading companies within this industry, including the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), The National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec), AlJouf Agricultural Development Company, Tabuk Agricultural Development Company, Al-Rajhi International for Investment, Anaam International Holding Company, Tala Investment Company, Jenan International Company, Al Baida Group and the Cooperative Association for Livestock in Burydah.
