Saudi-Polish Partnership Aims to Boost Agricultural and Livestock Cooperation

The Vice Minister of Environment Water and Agriculture, Eng. Mansour Almoushaity and the Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Jacek Czerniak signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation in agriculture and rural development between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Poland.

The deal aims to advance the production, manufacturing of agricultural and livestock products, a move that aligns with the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and achieve sustainable growth. The memorandum outlines several key areas of collaboration including leveraging modern technologies in agricultural production and veterinary medicine. The two nations will also exchange expertise and information to combat infectious animal diseases especially during epidemiological emergencies.

Beyond health and technology, the agreement promotes joint research studies, agricultural trade shows and training programs. It also aims to boost bilateral trade and investment, creating new opportunities for both countries to collaborate on agricultural production and manufacturing projects.
