The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture was involved in the Korea International Water Week 2023, which took place on December 6-9, addressing the main theme "Sustainable Water Management for Human and Nature: Water Disaster Risk Management Resilient to Climate Crisis."
The delegation was chaired by the Deputy Minister for Water, Dr.Abdulaziz Alshaibani. MEWA's participation with stakeholders contributes to exploring solutions to tackle the water challenge at the regional and international levels, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Saudi Vision 2030 to foster a shared global vision.
The Ministry's delegation reviewed with his Korean counterpart ways to enhance cooperation in modern technologies in water management and treatment. The delegation also met with several officials, specialists, and heads of companies working in the water sector.
