Saudi Arabia & Netherlands in talks to advance agricultural and food technologies

The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture participated in the GreenTech Exhibition. The event will be held in Amsterdam from June 14- 16. The GreenTech Exhibition aims to showcase cutting-edge technologies for sustainable agriculture.

During a meeting between the Saudi Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture for Research and Innovation, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Malik, and the Dutch Secretary General for Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, Mr. Jan-Kees Goet, both parties emphasized the imperative of exchanging knowledge and promoting the deployment of green technologies in food production for a sustainable future.

The Saudi Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture for Research and Innovation, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Malik had a meeting with the Dutch Secretary General for the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, Mr. Jan-Kees Goet. The main focus of the meeting is to exchange knowledge on both sides and promote the adoption of green technology for food sustainability.

The Ministry's participation in the exhibition is intended to promote the application of cutting-edge technology to agricultural and food research in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This collaboration between Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands is expected to bring about significant advancements in agriculture and contribute towards sustainable development goals.
