Under the patronage of Eng. Mansour Almushaiti, Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and Balady Poultry Trading Co. signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dutch Company Nijhuis Saur Industries to establish strategic and commercial cooperation in sludge treatment and poultry farm waste management.
The agreement aims to deliver innovative solutions for managing poultry farm waste, enhancing its utilization, and converting it into value-added products. It also seeks to support initiatives of mutual interest and promote investment opportunities between the two parties.
In addition, the agreement includes the development of a high-level cooperation strategy to identify and advance shared opportunities, provide solutions that improve resource efficiency, and support initiatives related to the circular economy and agricultural sustainability.
Eng. Almushaiti also witnessed the signing of a framework agreement for technical cooperation and data exchange between the Saudi Agricultural Development Company and Baladi Poultry Company. The agreement aims to support the marketing of organic fertilizers produced through integrated processing and reuse practices, contributing to sustainable economic value.
The memorandum also includes the exchange of technical expertise and insights related to product use and trial results, in addition to joint coordination on technical visits and relevant meetings between the two parties.
