3. Enhancing sustainability by ensuring ongoing support for projects, and reinforcing the role of biosecurity in facing disease threats;
4. Facilitating investment procedures;
5. Promoting the quality level of fish products;
6. Increasing production of fish farms to contribute to achieving food security in the Kingdom;
7. Expanding the adoption of modern aquaculture technologies that preserve natural resources;
8. Raising awareness of the importance of fish products, and increasing consumption rate to the reach the international rates;
9. Developing local fish markets;
10. Developing the professional level of labs and creating partnerships with international labs;
11. Establishing and developing fishing ports in all regions of the Kingdom;
12. Protecting fishing profession and encouraging Saudis to go back to it;
13. Boosting and preserving the fish stocks;
14. Promoting the role of the private sector in port investment and management;
15. Expanding establishment of cooperatives;
16. Promoting the role of empirical research;
17. Entering into local and international partnerships that contribute to developing the Sector; and
18. Promoting the role and participation of the private sector in the fish resources development programs in the Kingdom.
